ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW
The annual performance review is a formal and structured evaluation process used to assess an employee's job performance and provide feedback on their accomplishments and opportunities for development over the past year. This task will be launched to your Workday inbox by the Workday admins. The annual performance review will show as an action item in your Workday inbox.
STARTING THE PROCESS 1. To begin, select the Manager Evaluation: Annual Performance Review task in your Workday inbox. Each employee on your team will show as a separate task. Click on Get Started to start the review.
2. For further assistance, you can click on the links provided to view a tutorial or review job aids.
DOING THE REVIEW IN WORKDAY – ALL PEOPLE MANAGERS
Performance Ratings consist of 11 sets of criteria the employee should be rated on.
1. Select a rating for each item using the drop-down boxes. Once all items have a rating listed, Workday will automatically calculate an average. Click on Next to move on to the next section.
Please Note: Managers can override Workday’s calculation using the drop-down in the Manager Summary.
2. In the Feedback for Employee section, fill in the required text field and click Next.
3. Use the Goal Setting section to list out goals for the employee using the required text box. Click on the Add button.
Please note: Any goals added during the employee’s review will be visible on the employee’s Workday profile and can be edited and updated at any time.
3.1 Fill in all fields. You can add Milestones by clicking on the plus sign.
Please Note: Each milestone can have its own due date and be updated.
3.2 Use the Track By box to choose either Percent or Unit.
Please note: Unit can be used to track items like calls made to THPs per day or week.
3.3 You have the option of adding multiple goals.
4. Fill in the required text field on the Summary section and click Next.
5. Using the Review and Submit section, double check all sections and comments.
6. Once the review is complete, click Submit at the bottom of the screen.
Please Note: Once you click Submit, changes cannot be made. To make any changes before submitting, click on the section you wish to edit at the left of the screen.
